As the chief VFX production team, BLACKBOW worked with the Chinese famous director Zhang Yimou and the producer Sha Xiaolan, presented the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit light and firework art show A Warm Welcome to Friends from Afar in Qingdao.

This spectacular performance takes the whole city as the stage with nearly 50 lightened buildings, a 150-meter projection screen constructed in the sea, a 13.8-meter translucent spherical screen and 78 top laser projectors, etc. to create an urban visual feast. It perfectly interpreted the Chinese aesthetics “The Sea and the Sky Merged into One”.

BLACKBOW worked on four main chapters in CG visualization: A Moonlit Night, The Charm of Shandong, China in New Era, and Toward a Better Future, as well as the on-set solutions and also designed the VIP program list for all the leaders of countries.
